This review includes all NEW flavors and improved bars. Not only that, they’ve also released new products such as NEW Boost flavors and an all-new protein and energy product that we’ll discuss in a later post!
If you haven’t heard of Built Bars, it’s a low-carb protein bar that has literally taken the market by storm.
Their bars are low carb, high protein, low calorie (I am truly amazed at how good Built Bars are even though they are so low calorie) and the taste is phenomenal. 100% better than any other protein bar I’ve ever had.
Built Bars are gluten free, contain no preservatives and are naturally flavored, made with 100% REAL chocolate.
Built Bars as a company also really values your feedback and has the best customer service I’ve ever dealt with. (No, seriously, they go above and beyond, it’s amazing)
I was gifted these products to try and am now an affiliate, but I am not sponsored by them in any way.
Actually, the reason I was gifted the products/asked to join their affiliate program was because I kept posting about them (for no financial gain) because I was just obsessed with them LOL.
Another huge bonus about Built Bars is that their shipments arrive quickly with FREE shipping (even for someone like me in Canada!) This is a huge win because so often I want to try protein bars only to find out they have a ridiculous shipping fee or don’t even ship to Canada to begin with.
Below is a review of the NEW and improved flavors of bars I was able to try:
If you remember the texture of these bars from my last post, I said they look like a mix of marshmallow and toffee inside with a thin real chocolate coating. YES. I can tell you, they’ve changed it up a bit.
They used to be a bit tough to chew sometimes (not bad at all, but tough). But NOW they are so soft and much easier to bite into. I noticed a bigger change in some bars than others, but overall the texture has greatly improved.
I’m so sorry to all the orange lovers out there, but this just isn’t for me. It has nothing to do with Built Bars, I’m just not a fan of orange and chocolate, LOL.
This bar is okay, I don’t think anyone would call it a bad protein bar! But it tastes kind of boring to me after making bars for so long, and some of them have a similar flavor. The texture is still a bit chewier than other bars.
Man, I feel like I’m going over all the bars, but I promise they are so good! It’s like trying to pick the worst one out of a group of people who are all extremely talented, LOL.
We’re moving up a bit, alright. I don’t usually like lemon with chocolate, but this one isn’t too bad. I like the addition of larger chunks of almonds in the re-made bars, it adds something to the normally soft texture. This bar doesn’t really have anything of cheesecake for me, but it’s still good.
My first bite reaction: “Strange, lots of spices, interesting… okay… Walnut pieces… I always like that better, so good”.
This bar is a little strange… but in a good way! It has a strong hint of nutmeg or allspice when you bite into it, but then the walnuts complement it well.
This bar doesn’t really taste like “carrot cake” but more like spice cookies or spice cake. It’s really nice if you like fall-flavored desserts.
I love this bar! This bar was actually my number one for quite a while, but since they redesigned the built bars, I have a new number one….
That doesn’t mean I don’t still love this bar though! It’s a fantastic bar and I would recommend it to anyone.
It’s outrageously good and literally the best low carb protein bar I’ve ever had. No, actually the best snack bar I’ve ever eaten.
